Navigate the Manage Users page

Tour the Manage Users page to understand how to view and manage your team. Learn about the Active Users, Suspended Users, Pending Invitations tabs, and the Roles view.

Updated over a month ago

The Manage Users page is where you view and manage everyone in your organisation. From here, you can see who has access to your Altruistiq workspace, invite new team members, and adjust roles and permissions.

How to access Manage Users

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Manage Users from the menu.

Most roles can access the Manage Users page to view team information. However, taking management actions such as changing roles or Business Unit access requires specific permissions.

Users

The three user tabs

The Manage Users page organises users into three tabs based on their status:

  1. Active Users shows current team members who can access the platform. This is the default view when you open the page.

  2. Suspended Users shows former team members whose access has been revoked. Suspended users cannot log in but can be reactivated if needed.

  3. Pending Invitations shows invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted. From here, you can track who hasn't joined and resend invitations if necessary.

Active Users tab

The Active Users tab displays your current team members in a table with the following information:

User details: Name and email address for each team member.

Role: The role assigned to this user, which determines their permissions. You can change the role directly from this column if you have the appropriate permission.

Business Unit access: Which Business Units this user can see data for. You can adjust access directly from this column.

Seat type: Whether the user has a Pro or Lite license, based on their role.

2FA status: Whether the user has set up two-factor authentication. You can reset their 2FA from this column if needed.

Actions: Options to reset 2FA or suspend the user.

Inline editing of active Users

If you have the "Manage User Roles & Business Unit Access" permission, you can change a user's role or Business Unit access directly from the table. Click the dropdown in the relevant column, make your selection, and the change takes effect immediately.

Bulk actions

To make changes to multiple users at once, select users using the checkboxes on the left side of the table. A bulk actions bar appears at the bottom of the page with options to change role, change Business Unit access, or suspend the selected users.

Suspended Users tab

The Suspended Users tab shows team members who previously had access but have been suspended. For each suspended user, you'll see:

From this tab, you can reactivate a user to restore their access with their previous role and Business Unit settings.

From this tab, you can Resend an invitation if the recipient didn't receive it or the link expired, Edit the invitation to change the role or Business Unit access before they accept, or Revoke the invitation if it was sent in error.
