Check your user permissions first
Only organisation admins can create new facilities.
To verify your permissions:
Contact your organisation's Altruistiq administrator
Ask them to check your user role
Request admin access if needed for facility management
If you have admin access but still can't create facilities
Check facility effective dates Facility open dates cannot fall within locked reporting years.
Solution: Set facility open dates outside of locked periods.
Check area capacity settings (when adding areas within facilities) When creating an area within a facility, the area's capacity cannot exceed the parent facility's total capacity.
Solution:
Verify the parent facility's total capacity
Ensure your new area's capacity is lower than this limit
Adjust capacity values as needed
